How does the Slack integration work?

Connect your workspace under Settings > Integrations > Add to Slack and choose a channel. Then edit your uptime check, select that channel in Alert Settings, and save the check to enable downtime and recovery notifications.

How to get Slack alerts when your website goes down:

Step 1

Add your website

Create an OnlineOrNot account and add your website URL as an uptime check. Choose your check interval and downtime confirmation settings.

Step 2

Connect your Slack channel

Open Settings, then Integrations, and select Add to Slack. Sign in to your workspace and select the channel for notifications.

Step 3

Enable Slack alerts for your check

Edit your uptime check, select the connected Slack channel in Alert Settings, and save the check. Connecting Slack alone does not subscribe existing checks. Once enabled, the channel receives downtime alerts and a recovery message when the check is back up.
