Landing pages can tolerate brief outages without major impact. Here's how to configure monitoring that avoids noisy alerts.

Landing pages can briefly "go offline" due to network issues without it being a real problem. Configure the check to only alert after multiple failures:

Verify correct content

Set "Text to search for" to verify the page contains expected content. This catches cases where your server returns a 200 status but shows an error page.

For landing pages, email and Slack/Discord notifications are usually sufficient. Reserve SMS and PagerDuty for critical API endpoints.
